Xpic · Image translation for iOS

Email wushenggoo@gmail.com. We read everything that arrives; a one-person team means replies can take a few days.

What to include

Xpic has no account system, so we cannot look you up by name or email. To investigate anything specific we need:

Things we can answer quickly

“My translation was wrong.”

Translation is automated and does get things wrong — see section 2 of the Terms of Use. Send us the original photo and what it should have said, and it helps us improve the pipeline. Please do not rely on Xpic for medical, legal, or safety-critical text.

“My translated image disappeared.”

By design. Translated images live on our servers for about two hours and the link expires after about an hour; we keep no library of them. Save results to your photo library from the result screen if you want to keep them. We cannot recover an expired one.

“I subscribed but Pro is not active.”

Try Restore purchases on the subscription screen. If that does not work, email us with the approximate purchase date and which plan you bought.

“I want a refund.”

Refunds go through Apple, not us: reportaproblem.apple.com. See Subscription Terms section 4.

“It says no text was found.”

Usually the text is too small, blurry, angled, or partly covered. A closer, straighter, better-lit photo of just the text usually works. A failed attempt does not use up your allowance.

“Delete my data.”

Uploaded images are already deleted automatically within about two hours. For the records tied to your installation (allowance counters, subscription history), email us — we may need the installation identifier from the app’s Settings screen to find them. Note that we are required to retain subscription and tax records even after a deletion request.
